Employers Promoting Recreation, Health and Wellness for Their Employees

Is it really that Time!! Where did my day go?.... Or is it.... Is it really that time? I don't think I can last the rest of this work day without going crazy!!

Whatever the employee reality, neither scenario over months and months is healthy and productive. The barometer of a company's health is it's employees. Motivation, discretion of performance, quality control, focus and creativity are not usually under the control of an employer. Employees always feel they are owed better, than what they have, by the company.

What do those bumper stickers say?    Something about, even a bad day fishing .... is better than a good day at work?

At your firm do you care about the well-being of your employees? Is there a workplace culture of stress, indifference and overwhelming tasks? Is there numerous, "that was the last straw" reactions followed by absenteeism or "mental health days" off?

Capture the Heart of your Employees:

Excellence is impossible with a disengaged heart. The highest achievable level of service comes from the heart and the company that reaches its people's hearts will find they provide the very best service. Corporate recreational activites inject fun into the work place and facilitate a balance between employees' work and other social interests. Make Fish 4 Trout one of your "corporate outings"  and inject heart into the lives of many of your staff.

If you are an employee reading this website....tell your human resources manager or union steward  or fellow employees about "Fish 4 Trout".

Perhaps your company budget does not include such functions. No reason not to enjoy good times outside of work with people you see 40 hrs a week. Take the initiative and organize a time for fishing. For those 1st timers we rent equipment, provide bait and for the same cost of going to a movie, you can have great fun and still talk business......... if you want.

If you are in sales, the relaxed pace of fishing allows time to discuss options, brainstorm ideas and pitch proposals without the pressures of sitting eyeball to eyeball across the desk and waiting out those decision making pauses. Cast out your ideas, let the bait attract. Take your time and observe the movement of your bobber to know when to make your close.

Take a pass on the same old stuff - golf (takes 5 hrs & costs 4X's fishing), or drinks at the corner. Do something different, healthy and fun. Book Fish 4 Trout!!!
