Fish 4 Trout has been filmed twice by TSN for family fishing, was a checkpoint in the "Halton Amazing Race", was used by numerous churches, sport teams, family reunion outings, birthday parties & scout groups. From 2006-2008, the Optimist Club as well, has sponsored their annual Trout Derby event for the Disabled Foundation at our location.
The 1st comment out of everyones's mouth... It is so beautiful, we had no idea this was here!!
My son & I rented fishing rods and were given bait and a quick lesson to start us off fishing. My son had never caught a fish before. We paid the entry fee and I was a little worried first that my son still wouldn't catch anything like at our friends cottage or we would pay alot because this is a stocked pond. I was happy on both counts. My son excitedly caught several small rock bass and sunfish and Fish 4 Trout policy is that we can let them go. In the end we caught 2 beautiful trout that we kept and left with only having to pay $13 for our fish. My neighbour helped me clean and cook the trout and they were delicious. We will be back. It is so worth the fun with my son and he talks about it constantly.

What a day! This was my second time out at this trout pond and I was able to land 8 good size trout. Not only were they a good size (14 inch +), they tasted great too. It is a great family facility and very well run. The pond is fishable from all areas and would be great for children and family groups. I was very impressed with the property and having access to good fishing so close to home is amazing. I'll be back this season for sure. Thanks Kerry!

My family & I were at your pond yesterday & had a wonderful time. My son wanted to spend the whole day there & when it was time to leave, he couldn's wait to come back. I've told him that there's a possibility that you might be open for winter fishing so we're all crossing our fingers. Some expert fishermen have confirmed that trout fishing should be great in colder weather so I hope you decide to open this winter. Thanks for great family fun!

Hi Kerry.
On behalf of my group, I would like to thank you and your family for one amazing experience. Our clients really enjoyed themselves. Your property is beautiful, the fishing was excellent, and the clients that could, talked about it all afternoon. We took one fish home with us to try, and it tasted great.This was the first time many of our guys have been fishing since their accidents. All our clients have suffered a brain injury (i.e. a car accident) that has changed their lives significantly. Many of them loved to fish, and one of them even worked on a fishing boat out of Prince Edward Island pre injury. We took many photos Yesterday, and I know our clients families, friends etc. will be touched seeing their loved ones engaged in an activity they used to love! Once again, thank you very much for accomodating us. I know we will be back throughout the summer. It was an amazing experience!
